Konstantis is a climate scientist and conservationist from Greece. He has a BSc (Hons) in Ocean Science and Marine Conservation from the University of Plymouth, UK, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Polar Studies, at the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge, where he is investigating the snow hydrology of the Mediterranean mountains. His vision for the LiMnADs Project is to develop a better understanding of the fragile processes taking place in the alpine lakes of Greece and how they are being affected by climate change and anthropogenic pressures, in order to improve conservation efforts around them.
